The New Technology vCloud Air virtual private cloud

Air is a platform vCloud public cloud built on VMware vSphere. is a secure hybrid cloud service built on the basis of vSphere.
vCloud Air three-as-a-Service (IaaS) types of subscription services infrastructure: dedicated cloud, virtual private cloud, and disaster recovery. vCloud Air also offers a pay-as-you-go called Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand service.

vCloud History

VMware vCloud initiative announced at the VMworld 2008 conference in Las Vegas and attracted the attention of the mainstream media. 
At VMworld 2009 in San Francisco vCloud presented in the vCloud pavilion.  vCloud was also a topic at VMworld 2010. 
The May 21, 2013, the early access program for vCloud hybrid service was launched. On August 26, 2013, it announced the general availability of hybrid vCloud service includes features such as DaaS and Direct Connect. 
VCloud Hybrid Service was renamed Air vCloud August 21, 2014. vCloud Hybrid Air offers a public cloud IaaS that works as an extension of running data centers VMware vSphere, with management and the establishment of a common network existing. With the renaming of the service, which also announced a cloud computing on request that allows users to pay only for what each user needs to use the resources.

Data Center Locations

The data centers are located in the UK and Japan. vCloud Air launched in Frankfurt, Germany, March 17, 2015 and also announced a future data center in Melbourne, Australia. 

Architecture

Air vCloud supports more than 5,000 applications and more than 90 certified operating systems to run on vSphere.  The use of air vCloud allows loads portability and migration due to vSphere, which means no rewrites or recoding to move workloads from one data center facilities clouds, and vice versa.

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand is self-service platform in the cloud application vCloud Air. This-as-a-service infrastructure (IaaS) pay-as-you-go offering allows users consume specific virtual CPU, storage, vRAM, Network and IP as needed. In addition, the service allows the adjustment of state power in virtual machines. 

VMware has announced plans for an early access program Virtual Private Cloud vCloud Air OnDemand 14 October 2014.  The program was officially launched on November 17, 2014.  This includes $ 1,000 in service credits for authorized users.

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand was officially released January 20, 2015  An initial offer of $ 300 service credit to be used within the first 90 days of the signing was also announced.

Cloud database technology

Cloud database is a database, which usually runs on the cloud computing platform, such as Amazon EC2, GoGrid, Salesforce.com, Rackspace, Microsoft Azure. There are two joint deployment models: Users can run databases on the cloud independently, using the image of the virtual machine, or they can buy access to the database service, which is maintained by the cloud database provider. Databases available on the cloud, and some are and some SQL-based model using NoSQL data.

There are two main ways to run the database on the cloud:

    Virtual image - cloud computing platforms machines allow users to buy virtual machine instances for a limited period. It is possible to operate a database of these virtual machines. Users can either upload their own picture of the machine with a database installed on it, or use the images of ready-made machines, which already includes the optimum installation of a database. For example, Oracle provides a ready-made device images with Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition installation on Amazon EC2  and Microsoft Azure.
    
Database as a service (DBaaS) - Some cloud computing platforms offer options to use a database as a service without physically start the virtual machine instance to a database. In this configuration, the application and the owners do not have to install and maintain the database of its own. Instead, the SQL Server database takes responsibility for the installation and maintenance of the database and the application owners pay according to use.
For example, Amazon Web provides three database services as part of the cloud offerings, SimpleDB, a NoSQL key value store, Amazon Relational Database Service, and basic data services with SQL interface cell DynamoDB. Similarly, Microsoft is offering a basic data service SQL Azure as part of a presentation by the cloud.


The third option enables the database on the cloud hosting, where they are not providing the database as a service, but the SQL database cloud hosting the database and manages on behalf of the applicant. Architecture and common features

Hybrid cloud computing technology
