The New Technology vCloud Air virtual private cloud

Air is a platform vCloud public cloud built on VMware vSphere. is a secure hybrid cloud service built on the basis of vSphere.
vCloud Air three-as-a-Service (IaaS) types of subscription services infrastructure: dedicated cloud, virtual private cloud, and disaster recovery. vCloud Air also offers a pay-as-you-go called Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand service.

vCloud History

VMware vCloud initiative announced at the VMworld 2008 conference in Las Vegas and attracted the attention of the mainstream media. 
At VMworld 2009 in San Francisco vCloud presented in the vCloud pavilion.  vCloud was also a topic at VMworld 2010. 
The May 21, 2013, the early access program for vCloud hybrid service was launched. On August 26, 2013, it announced the general availability of hybrid vCloud service includes features such as DaaS and Direct Connect. 
VCloud Hybrid Service was renamed Air vCloud August 21, 2014. vCloud Hybrid Air offers a public cloud IaaS that works as an extension of running data centers VMware vSphere, with management and the establishment of a common network existing. With the renaming of the service, which also announced a cloud computing on request that allows users to pay only for what each user needs to use the resources.
vCloud Air Mobile was announced August 25, 2014, that the integration of Pivotal AirWatch and Cloud Foundry adds on the platform. 

Data Center Locations

It is currently offered in eight locations in the United States, including: Northern California, Nevada, Texas, Virginia and New Jersey. The data centers are located in the UK and Japan. vCloud Air launched in Frankfurt, Germany, March 17, 2015 and also announced a future data center in Melbourne, Australia. 

Architecture

Air vCloud supports more than 5,000 applications and more than 90 certified operating systems to run on vSphere.  The use of air vCloud allows loads portability and migration due to vSphere, which means no rewrites or recoding to move workloads from one data center facilities clouds, and vice versa.

network virtualization allows users to configure the firewall and the network to reflect the in situ networks, including the rules of NAT and firewall rules, networks and public IP addresses.

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand is self-service platform in the cloud application vCloud Air. This-as-a-service infrastructure (IaaS) pay-as-you-go offering allows users consume specific virtual CPU, storage, vRAM, Network and IP as needed. In addition, the service allows the adjustment of state power in virtual machines. 

VMware has announced plans for an early access program Virtual Private Cloud vCloud Air OnDemand 14 October 2014.  The program was officially launched on November 17, 2014.  This includes $ 1,000 in service credits for authorized users.

Virtual Private Cloud OnDemand was officially released January 20, 2015  An initial offer of $ 300 service credit to be used within the first 90 days of the signing was also announced.
